MK 2011 info: Sheeva

SHEEVA is a member of the four-armed Shokan race. Her markings reveal that she is of the royal Draco lineage. Like all Shokan, she pledged her life to Shao Kahn, bringing honor to her race by serving him. During an attack by Edenian rebels on Shao Kahn's fortress, SHEEVA fiercely protected Queen Sindel and prevented her capture. She was subsequently appointed Sindel's personal bodyguard until the queen's mysterious death in Earthrealm. SHEEVA is now the master jailer of Shao Kahn's oppressive dungeon.

Signature Moves

* The enhanced version is called Jump Crush. It is slightly more damaging.

Searing Blast: Sheeva launches a fireball, which can knock the opponent to the ground. In MK 2011, this is called Fireball.
* The enhanced version is called Fire Blast. The fireball is larger, slightly more damaging, and knocks the opponent back.

Untamed Fury: Sheeva lunges forward, grabs the opponent with her lower arms, hits them repeatedly in the face with her upper arms, then smacks them across the stage. This is called Grab N Punch in MK 2011.
* The enhanced version is named Untamed Fury. Instead of ending the attack with a punch, she throws the opponent across the screen.

Anti-Air Grab: Sheeva grabs an opponent from mid-air, slams them on the ground, and stomps on their back.
* The enhanced version is called Power Anti-Air. It is slightly more damaging.

Low Grab: Sheeva grabs a ducked opponent and slams them behind her, as well as allowing for a juggle.

X-Ray Move - Slam Dance: Sheeva stomps the ground causing the opponent to go in the air and land in front of her, as they lay on the ground, she stomps on their head, breaking it. Then stomps on their back, breaking their spine. She then throws the opponent away.

Fatalities
Stripped Down:
Grabbing a handful of flesh in each of her four fists, Sheeva pulls her opponent's skin to the floor, leaving a bloody, skeletal husk. In MK 2011, she pulls the skin away in two pieces, in an upward motion. She then kicks the opponent's skinless body away, then lifts the flesh.

Lend A Hand: Sheeva rips her opponent's arms off with her lower arms, then hits them in the face with their severed arms, kicks them, and proceeds to clap with the severed arms.

Babality: Sheeva turns into a baby and has a giant fit, stomping on the ground repeatedly.

MK 2011 info: Kintaro (boss)

Like Goro and Sheeva, KINTARO is of the four-armed Shokan race. Unlike his aristocratic comrades, however, he is of lower-class Tigrar lineage. As is customary when recruiting Shokan and Centaur into Shao Kahn's service, one of each race must face each other in bloody kombat. KINTARO killed his opponent and, in an unprecedented act of bravado, roared for more Centaur blood. Centaurs leapt furiously into the ring to their demise. This savagery led Shao Kahn to appoint KINTARO his personal bodyguard.

Signature moves

Fireball / Fiery Hands: Kintaro shoots a flaming fireball out of his mouth.

Ground Fireball: Kintaro shoots a fireball directly to the ground.

Flame Breath: Kintaro breathes a short stream of fire from his mouth.

Teleport Stomp: Kintaro jumps off screen and comes crashing down with all his weight.

Shokan Roar: Kintaro roars, making him vulnerable (or healing in Armageddon). In Shaolin Monks, he does this move before a teleport stomp, and he is vulnerable to attacks when he roars. In MK 2011, he roars if his teleport stomp misses.

X-Ray Move - Shokan Smash: Kintaro punches the opponent in the chest with his lower arms, breaking their ribs, he then punches his opponent on both sides of the skull with his upper arms, breaking it, then he grabs the opponent's face and punches them one more time, damaging it even more.

Fatalities

Quad Rip: Kintaro grabs his opponent with each of his arms. He then begins to pull outwards, eventually ripping the opponent into four pieces.

Reverse Rip: Kintaro turns the enemy around, grabs their arms and head. He rips off the arms and head, and breaks the head into two pieces.

Babality: Kintaro becomes a 6-legged kitten with a bowl of milk in front of him, he crawls on all six to it and begins to meow and drink the milk, while purring away.

MK 2011 info: Goro (boss)

PRINCE GORO has brought much honor to the Shokan race by serving Shao Kahn. His bloody achievements include crushed rebellions and conquered provinces. During the past 500 years he has been celebrated for winning the last nine Mortal Kombat tournaments for Outworld. Should he defeat Earthrealm's champion this time, he will become more than legendary. His victory is assured. There are none in Earthrealm who can withstand the might of GORO.

Signature Moves

Fireball: Goro shoots a green fireball from his arm. This attack is stronger than most projectiles, just like his physical attacks. It also appeared in Mortal Kombat 4, but this time it was shot out of his mouth, similar to Kintaro. In Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, the fireball is larger, redder, and does standard projectile damage. In Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks Goro can shoot one from each hand, four in a row. In MK 2011 Goro returns to shooting one fireball from his arm.

Leaping Stomp: Goro jumps off the screen and lands on the opponent much like Kintaro and Sheeva. However, in the original Mortal Kombat and in Mortal Kombat (2011), he does not jump all the way off the screen; he only jumps the height of a normal jump.

Goro Grab: Goro grabs the opponent in his bottom hands, then palms the opponents face in an upper hand, smashes them on the ground, and then flings them across the arena.

Spinning Fists: Goro holds out his arms and spins around, smacking his opponent multiple times with his outstretched flaming fists.

Taunt: In MK 2011, Goro will flex his upper arms and taunt the opponent. This can be used as an opening to strike Goro, as it does nothing else. It was also used as a move in MK and MK Trilogy.

X-Ray Move - Shokan Crusher: Goro grabs and raises his opponent from the waist with his lower arms, then puts his upper hands to their head and presses hard until he eventually crushes their skull. He then throws them overhead and slams them into the floor, damaging their skull, ribs, and chest.

Fatalities

Head Ripper: Goro grabs the opponent's head and tears it off with two arms. He then grabs it with his two other arms and tears it into 4 quarters.

Limb and Body Rip: Goro grabs the opponent with his upper hands and rips off the enemy's legs with his bottom hands. He flips them upside down and rips off their arms, and finally vertically rips the body in half.

Babality: Goro starts clapping until he accidentally punches himself, making him cry.

MK info: Sheeva

SHEEVA
Appearances: Mortal Kombat 3/UMK 3/MK Trilogy, MK: Armageddon
Realm of Origin: Outworld
Species: Shokan
Alignment: Evil
Fighting styles: Kuatan (MK:A)
Weapons:
Shokan Blades (MK:A)

Sheeva belongs to the ancient race of the Shokan, described as a subterranean people living in Outworld. Like all of her race, she possesses a tall, muscular build, red eyes, and four arms (she also wears armor in her Armageddon makeover as well). Sheeva served as the personal bodyguard of Queen Sindel during Shao Kahn's failed invasion of Earthrealm. She can pile drive an opponent into the ground with her fists, or skin her victims in seconds with her bare hands.
When Shao Kahn resurrected Queen Sindel as the first step in his invasion of Earth, he appointed Sheeva to be her personal protector. Sheeva became distrustful however, when Kahn appointed Motaro, a Centaurian, to lead his Extermination Squads into battle. She saw this as an insult, as the Shokan and Centaurs have long been mortal enemies.
Sheeva served the emperor in Earthrealm, but when she returned to Outworld, she was shocked to learn that Shao Kahn had betrayed the Shokans by launching an offensive against them. She joins her brethren in fighting Kahn’s warriors, and decided to take revenge on her nemesis Motaro.
Sheeva sneaks her way into Kahn’s palace on Earthrealm. She learns that Motaro has nursed his Earthrealm ally, Kano, back to health. She secretly approaches Kano and asks for his assistance in assassinating Shao Kahn, to which Kano agrees. Some time later, Motaro has returned to the palace to report to Shao Kahn, and Sheeva waits silently in the shadows. As Kano watches from his cell, Sheeva apparently slays the unsuspecting Centaurian and intends to treat Shao Kahn similarly. In return for his release, Kano offers to distract Kahn and tells her to wait for his signal, but Kano betrays Sheeva by covertly informing Kahn of her intentions. Once Kano gives the signal, Sheeva enters the throne room where she is immediately run through the back with a sword by Shao Kahn, who lay in wait. She is seemingly killed by this attack.
In Mortal Kombat: Armageddon's Konquest mode, Sheeva is seen in the Netherealm along with Kintaro, Havik, and a legion of demons all apparently working in an attempt to overthrow Shinnok's rule at his spire. However, Shinnok later reveals that they were only apparitions created as a test for Taven, thus making it clear that it was not the real Sheeva.

Mk info: Kintaro

KINTARO
Appearances: Mortal Kombat II, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, MK: Shaolin Monks, MK: Armageddon
Realm of Origin: Outworld
Species: Shokan
Alignment: Evil
Fighting styles:
Tiger Fist (MK:A)
Weapons:
Saber Teeth (MK:A)

Kintaro was introduced as a replacement for the great Shokan prince Goro, and was everything Goro was, including being of the Shokan race, but not of the same family. Being the supreme commander of Outworld's armed forces, he is second only to Shao Kahn himself, and harder to defeat than Goro. He has more clearly defined feline aspects than Goro, with tiger stripes on his back (more recently, claws and cat-like digitigrade feet in his Armageddon makeover as well), and has the ability to spit fireballs from great distances.
In Mortal Kombat II, after hearing of Goro's defeat at the hands of Liu Kang, Kintaro vowed to avenge his comrade and crush Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat. Kintaro tried to prove his loyalty to Shao Kahn when he traveled to Earthrealm with a Tarkatan horde to defeat Johnny Cage. Although the attack failed due to the intervention of other Earthrealm warriors, Kintaro continued to serve Shao Kahn. After Shang Tsung was defeated again by Liu Kang, Kintaro then challenged Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat. Kintaro fought well, but lost. His fate after the second tournament is unknown.
In Mortal Kombat: Armageddon's Konquest mode, Kintaro is seen in the Netherealm along with Sheeva, Havik, and a legion of demons all apparently working in an attempt to overthrow Shinnok's rule at his spire. However, Shinnok later reveals that this was all created as a test for Taven, and that the Kintaro fought by him was an illusion.

MK info: Goro

GORO

Appearances: Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Mortal Kombat 4/Gold, MK: Deception, (GameCube only), MK: Shaolin Monks, MK: Unchained, MK: Armageddon
Realm of Origin: Outworld
Species: Shokan
Alignment: Evil
Fighting styles:
Shokan (MK:D, MK:A)
Kuatan (MK:D)
Weapons:
Dragon Fangs (MK:D, MK:A)

Goro was introduced in the very first Mortal Kombat game as the sub-boss, where he was notoriously difficult to defeat. More than two thousand years old, he is the Prince of the Shokan race, hailing from the Kuatan realm of Outworld. As a General in the Outworld Emperor Shao Kahn's militia, he fights for the pride and glory of his people.
Goro became Grand Champion of the Mortal Kombat tournament after defeating the Great Kung Lao. For 500 years, he remained undefeated and helped Shang Tsung grow ever closer to achieving Shao Kahn's goal of domination over Earthrealm. In his 10th title defense, however, he faced Liu Kang. Kang pushed him to his limits and finally defeated the mighty Shokan warrior. In the tournament's aftermath, Goro went missing after a battle where he fought Kano, Johnny Cage, and Sonya Blade. It is theorized that he actually retreated back to his kingdom during this time. Shang Tsung, meanwhile, faced execution for his defeat at the hands of Liu Kang and for Goro's apparent death.
Goro would resurface after Kahn's downfall, during the events of Mortal Kombat 4/Mortal Kombat Gold. Despite having the intent to avenge his losses at Liu Kang's hands, Goro began to take an interest in the matters of his own race and joined his fellow Shokans in war against the Centaurians. Princess Kitana intervened and negotiated both races through a truce and peace accord. The meeting was interrupted by Kung Lao who desired to challenge his ancestor's killer. The Shaolin Monk lashed out with a ceremonial strike of revenge that left Goro's chest scarred. Considering the score settled, the two shook hands. When Shinnok and his legion were defeated and Edenia was free once more, Goro and the Shokan race decided to ally themselves with the Edenians, agreeing to sign a peace treaty with the Centaurs as a condition of their new partnership.
Years later, during the time of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, the united Edenian and Shokan forces attacked the weakened Shao Kahn's armies. Exhausted from battle, Goro was mortally wounded by Noob Saibot, and Kitana held a royal funeral for the fallen Shokan prince. However, Goro is able to survive, being saved from death by Shao Kahn himself, with the promise of returning the Shokans to their former glory and the banishment of the Centaurs in exchange for his allegiance. Agreeing to these terms, Goro placed his royal seal on a nearby disfigured fallen Shokan (whom Kitana and the Shokan army found and mistook for him, successfully deceiving them while hiding his defection), and resumed his place at Shao Kahn's side.

It also appeared in Mortal Kombat 4, but this time he shot it from his mouth, similar to Kintaro. In Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, the fireball is larger, red, and does standard projectile damage. In Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, Goro can shoot one from each hand, or four in a row. (all games)
