Corellia was the capital planet of the Corellian Sector, which included Corellia, Selonia, Drall, Tralus, and Talus. It was also the birthplace of smuggler and New Republic General Han Solo and Rogue Squadron pilot-cum-New Republic hero Wedge Antilles.
Collectively, the planets of the system were known as the Five Brothers. As the largest planet and the closest to Corell, Corellia was often called the "Eldest Brother" or the "Eldest." Historians believe the Celestials assembled the system artificially, the worlds brought from other parts of the galaxy, for unknown reasons. Some believe that these Celestials populated Corellia with Humans from Coruscant.

GEOGRAPHY
Corellia's surface was extremely temperate, dominated by rolling hills, thick forests, lush farmland, golden beaches, and large seas. With most of its famed manufacturing centers lifted into orbit, the planet remained largely rural and undeveloped, with small villages and farming communities comprising the bulk of urban development. The largest cities were Coronet—the planetary capital, the tourist haven of Kor Vella, the double-city Tyrena, and the mountain hamlets of Doaba Guerfel and Bela Vistal. Immigrants from the neighboring planet of Selonia constructed an elaborate network of tunnels beneath the planet's surface. These Selonian Tunnels were used by people of all races as a kind of subterranean metropolis, though the deepest levels were traveled exclusively by Selonians. Space above Corellia was dominated by massive shipyards.

Corellia is a commercial and manufacturing center. Home to multi-stellar corporate conglomerates, many of which compete directly with the Trade Federation and Intergalactic Banking Clan for galactic influence. With trade and corporate profits driving much here, Corellians are all working for one or another company. Over time the companies became so powerful they overthrew the historic parliamentary constitutional monarchy (the Royal House of Razur, ca. 150 BBY) in favor of a government more supportive of the needs of commercialism. This corporate government was called the Diktat, which may mean a person and/or a council. The Diktat and government in general makes it easier for the corporations to train and employ Corellians. These companies house, feed, entertain and direct their employees through their tenure of employment (usually life-long), though technically each employee is a free Corellian citizen.

CULTURE
Corellians were often considered intrepid and maverick by other Core peoples, spawning expressions warning against telling a Corellian the odds for success; for a Corellian, beating the odds is always a reward in itself. This sense of immortality was visible in the common Corellian tradition of cremating the dead and compressing their ash into synthetic diamonds with artificial gravity generators. Corellians also dealt justice to those that committed the most heinous acts with a death penalty.
Corellians were a sentimental breed, and when separated from their homeworld became sentimental at the sight of Corellian treats like the sweet ryshcate pastry or a bottle of the woody potable Whyren's Reserve. There was a Corellian sect known as the Ensterites whom forbade marriage with anyone from outside the Corellian system. Marrying someone from outside the Corellian system would result in being shunned by one's fellow Ensterites. It was a Corellian custom for husbands-to-be to have large bachelor parties with their friends.
Family was held in high respect on Corellia. It was considered most dishonorable to involve innocent family members in a quarrel held with one family member. Conversely, great courage was seen as highly honorable, deserving of outward recognition through traditions such as the Corellian Bloodstripe.
Corellia was originally a monarchy, but was ruled by a democratic government after Berethron e Solo established constitutional rule in 312 BBY.

HISTORY

Early years
Corellia was home to a fortified republic base during the Mandalorian Wars. The Jedi Revan was said to have placed this base strategically in the War to lure in the Mandalorians, dare they come that close to the core worlds, and strike them from a hidden fleet while they concentrated on decimating the surface of the planet. The Mandalorians were defeated before then, however, the base proved a key element in later battles during the Jedi Civil War and long after.

CLONE WARS
In the months leading up to the Clone Wars, Corellian Senator Garm Bel Iblis withdrew his planet from the galactic community in protestation of the Military Creation Act, using a little known clause in the Corellian constitution.
This attempt at isolation did not succeed and Corellia, like the rest of the galaxy, was soon embroiled in the horror of the
Clone Wars. In the Galactic Civil War, Corellia was the site of the Corellian Treaty, which founded the Rebel Alliance.
Corellia is also home to the Corellian Engineering Corporation, one of the larger shipbuilding firms in the Star Wars galaxy. Examples of Corellian ships are the
Corellian Corvette an example of which is the Tantive IV, the ship used by Princess Leia in A New Hope; and the YT-1300, better known as the Millennium Falcon.

NEW REPUBLIC
After the Yuuzhan Vong War, the system tried to avoid aiding other systems' economies, claiming independence yet striving to retain membership in the Galactic Alliance. Diplomatic relations became further and further strained by both the supposed existence of a planetary assault fleet, and the efforts of Corellia's president, Thrackan Sal-Solo, to reactivate Centerpoint Station. Eventually relations became so strained that the Galactic Alliance launched an assault on the system, calling on Jacen Solo and Ben Skywalker to disable the station. After several failed calls for diplomacy, both sides were gearing up to fight.

Mon Calamari was the home planet to a wealth of sentient species: the Mon Calamari, the Quarren, the Moappa, the tree-like Yarin, the Amphi-Hydrus, and the Whaladons. Mon Calamari was the name given to the planet by Human explorers from the Galactic Republic who first discovered the world to the rest of the galaxy. The native species referred to the planet as Dac.

GEOGRAPHY AND HISTORY
The planet was a shining bluish-white orb from space, due to its ocean-covered surface. It was home to 27.5 billion Mon Calamarians and Quarren, as well as surrounded by impressive shipyards. These two species have struggled for many years to claim the planet. The Mon Calamari live comfortably on the surface and below although the Quarren live in the depths of the oceans. The planet looks like a blue marble from space because it is an ocean planet. The cities are like those of Kamino.

OLD REPUBLIC
During the Clone Wars, the world was attacked twice by the Confederacy of Independent Systems. First, Count Dooku devastated the world with the Dark Reaper. Later, the Quarren Isolation League attempted to overthrow the Mon Calamari Council. Many members of the Free Dac movement fled Mon Calamari, settling on the CIS worlds of Pammant and Minntooine, where the Free Dac Volunteers Engineering Corps created shipyards. Using designs based on Mon Calamari Shipyards blueprints stolen by the CIS as a basis, these yards created Recusant-class Light Destroyers at Minntooine and Providence-class carrier-destroyers at the Pammant Docks for the Separatist fleet.
There were also Separatist Mon Calamari, led by the heroic Commander Merai, backed by Passel Argente and the Corporate Alliance. Without the approval of Count Dooku, the Mon Calamari led an effective assault during the First Battle of Kamino, using their amphib fighters and Merai's personal assault ship, the Shark. Ultimately their assault failed, as Dooku betrayed them. Most of the Mon Calamari forces were able to escape the disaster due to the sacrifice of Merai, a true hero to the end.
After the Republic loyalty of the planet was cemented, the Loyalist inhabitants agreed to a new arrangement: dual representation in the Senate, with Tundra Dowmeia representing the Quarren and Meena Tills representing the Mon Calamari. Both Senators were signatories of the Delegation of 2000's petition, resulting in their arrest upon the Declaration of a New Order.

IMPERIAL ERA
After Mon Calamari's revolution against the Galactic Empire, the Mon Calamari and the Quarren joined with the Rebel Alliance, proving to be an invaluable asset in the Galactic Civil War. The Mon Calamari, masters of starship construction, supplied the Alliance with badly needed capital ships constructed in the Mon Calamari Shipyards. Prior to joining the Alliance, the Mon Calamari had only built passenger liners and deep space exploration vessels because of their peaceful ethos, but by heavily retrofitting these vessels, they were able to create capital ships that could take on the Galactic Empire's ships of the line. By the time of the Battle of Endor, Mon Calamari Star Cruisers were extensively used by the Alliance, playing a major role there in the hands of Mon Calamari Admiral Ackbar, which put them to good use in this decisive battle.

NEW REPUBLIC
At the creation of the New Republic, Mon Calamari served as the temporary capital of the weak and inept government for the first two years. The Provisional Council was also located on this world and held its meetings there as well. The New Republic defeated the Imperial Remnants thrice at Mon Calamari: the first time against the Whaladon hunting submarines of Emperor Trioculus; the second against the World Devastators of the clone Emperor; and the third against the Star Destroyers of Admiral Daala. These three battles caused many cities to be destroyed and members of all the indigenous sentient species suffered loss of life.

GALACTIC ALLIANCE
During the Yuuzhan Vong War, the planet was represented by both the Quarren Pwoe and the Mon Calamari Gron Marrab. After the fall of Coruscant to the Yuuzhan Vong, the remaining senators and politicians of the new Republic government fled to Mon Calamari, which had not been taken by the Yuuzhan Vong. The world's massive shipyards, large defensive fleet, and isolation from the front lines made it a desirable location. Pwoe tried and failed to usurp the New Republic presidency and eventually joined the Ylesian Republic on Ylesia. Marrab, however, remained loyal, and represented his homeworld in the Senate. Following the election of Cal Omas as the new Chief of State, the New Republic was reorganized into the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, or Galactic Alliance. The Alliance was formed on Mon Calamari, which served as its original capital until the end of the Yuuzhan Vong War.

Naboo was a planet that was the sectorial capital of the Chommell Sector near the Outer Rim territories. It was a largely unspoilt world with large plains and forests and oceans. It was mostly known as the homeworld of notable historical figures who played major roles in the downfall of the Old Republic and the rise of the Galactic Empire, namely Senator Padmé Amidala, Supreme Chancellor (and later Emperor) Palpatine and Jar Jar Binks.

Geographic features
Naboo
was an enigma to astrophysicists. Its porous, plasma-rich interior and lack of a molten core has been a phenomenon not found on any other known planet in the galaxy.
The surface of Naboo was covered by dense swamps, rolling grass plains, seas and verdant hills. The largest mountain chain, the Gallo Mountains, bisected the largest continent and divided the great grass plains of the north from the Lianorm Swamp in the south. South of the Lianorm Swamp is the Paonga Sea, where at the bottom lay the Gungan city of Otoh Gunga. The Lake Country was an area known for its natural beauty, and was home to many vacation estates.
Underneath the planet's surface was a tremendous maze of passages and caves, home to immense aquatic animals and creatures that were never seen on the surface, such as the Colo Claw Fish, Opee Sea Killer, Sando Aqua Monster, and others. Gungans dominated these 'underwaterways', using them as a highway of sorts between their surface Holy Places and their underwater cities.

Culture
The Humans of Naboo are know for being peaceful, enlightened, and artistic, among other things.
The Naboo remained largely pastoral and nomadic, although several urban centers did emerge. Deeja Peak, in the Gallo Mountains, developed as one of the first Human settlements on the planet, keeping a degree of political power there. Keren and Theed both developed as farming communities whose over-production of foodstuffs provided for a large leisure class. Keren eventually became the commercial hub while Theed became more aristocratic. Kaadara developed as a coastal town for the few Naboo fishermen. Moenia was the first, and only, Human colony built in the traditional Gungan homelands of the Lianorm swamps.
The Naboo developed into a classic feudal society with a hereditary noble class and common folk, though unlike most feudal societies, there is no record of a subservient serf class. Naboo city-states traded with each other and with the Gungans. Generally the city-states acknowledged a ceremonial "High King"—a position that at times rotated between the city-state princes, though at other times was vested in a royal house. This ceremonial position was largely powerless and a form of peerage democracy evolved.
Adulthood and the right to vote is based on intellectual maturity rather than biological age, hence a reason for so many teenagers being involved in public service. The Naboo display a remarkable--perhaps unique--tendency to elect extremely young women to high public office (Queen and Senator Padmé Amidala, Queen Jamillia, Queen Apailana, Senator Pooja Naberrie).

HISTORY
Pre-Human period
The Gungans are believed to be indigenous to Naboo, but this is uncertain. They have been there a long time, as they engaged in battles of survival with the veermoks during an ice age in some time around 500,000 BBY.

An alien civilization of reptilian humanoids remembered as the "Elders" colonized Naboo. Around 7,032 BBY, they engaged in warfare with the Gungans, forcing the Gungans to retreat underwater, giving rise to modern Gungan civilization. Monuments and ruins, scattered throughout the planet, were built by the Elders. The largest of these ruins, located on the northern edge of the Lianorm Swamp, was identified as the Gungan Holy Place. The Gungans view these ruins as sacred, and their builders as "guds". Both Gungan and Human Naboo scientists agree that the end of the "Elder" civilization, 5,032 BBY, may have been the result of the "Elders" negligence towards their environment.
The Ankura and Otolla branches of Gungans united, forming a symbiotic relationship. They dominated Naboo for millennia afterwards, though largely keeping to the swamps and waterways; the mountains and grasslands considered 'desert-like' for them.

Human colonization
Around 3,951 BBY, prior to the end of the Sith Civil War, Elsinore den Tasia ascended to the throne of the Core World of Grizmallt. She sponsored the Republic explorer Kwilaan, who discovered Naboo with a fleet of three ships — Beneficent Tasia, Constant and Mother Vima. The planet quickly became notorious amongst big game hunters who favored the indigenous veermoks, although it would be five decades before permanent Human settlement.
Eventually, in approximately 3,900 BBY, Human refugees fleeing a violent revolution on Grizmallt, led by none other than Kwilaan, settled in the mountains and great grass plains. Some believe that Naboo was originally a Gungan word for "plainsfolk." Cultural differences led to tension between the two peoples — but direct conflict was rare. Over time, there was more conflict between the various Human settlements than between the Human nation of Naboo and Gungans.

Early Gungan/Human cooperation
Despite the prejudices that existed between the Human Naboo and the Gungans, cooperation was not unknown. Although both civilizations turned a blind eye to it, they came to depend on each other in trade conducted on the fringes, out of sight of "respectable" society. In a progressive move, when the Human city Kaadara was founded in 2,900 BBY, Regent Kallos Sook hired a Gungan security force to protect the city from beasts. While this tradition eventually died out, it was revived in Kaadara after the Battle of Naboo in 32 BBY.

By King Veruna's reign, 47 BBY, Naboo had become a major player in the galactic plasma energy trade market. Long known as a source of plasma (the energy source that powers everything from simple lights on Queen Amidala's robes, to great Gungan underwater cities and capital starships), high grade plasma veins were discovered below the streets of Theed. This led King Veruna (47–32 BBY) and (then) Senator Palpatine to build a great plasma mining and refining facility in the heart of the capital. The Banking Guild financed the construction. As the Naboo traditionally held an aversion to off world trade they agreed to have the powerful Trade Federation buy the plasma at a fixed price. The Federation however took advantage of the Naboo's lack of interstellar commercial experience and sold the plasma for greatly marked-up prices — selling the Naboo short.

Naboo during the Rise of The Empire
The Naboo protested and wished to be free of the contract. King Veruna, never wanting the trade agreement with the Federation in the first place, sensed the upcoming military conflict. Veruna expanded the role of the Space Fighter Corps (a division of the RSF) and had the N-1 starfighter squadron organized. Theed Hangar was built next to the refining station to house the new military forces. This move was unpopular on Naboo and with Senator Palpatine as these precautions were perceived as provocative overture. With the people and the senator unhappy with his military expansion, Veruna was forced to abdicate in favor of Padmé Naberrie. Later, Veruna would be assassinated while in exile. Taking Amidala as her Name of State, the young Queen promised to end the conflict without violence.

Once in power Queen Amidala opened negotiations with the Trade Federation. However, the Federation was scandalized by Naboo's resistance to its authority, which coincided with a Galactic Republic Senate tax on interstellar trade. Both actions were perceived by Federation leadership as threatening to their commercial interests and power. The Federation answered with a military blockade of Naboo, with the aim of forcing Naboo into subservience and to hopefully intimidate the Senate into repealing the taxation measure. The Federation leadership was secretly advised, and manipulated, by the Sith Lord Darth Sidious.

The Jedi Knights Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi were sent to mediate, but were unsuccessful. Naboo fell quickly; though they had a powerful Armed Corps, the Royal Advisory Council held off action until all negotiations failed. The Naboo government and citizens were captured and were to be held in detention camps outside the cities. Soon rescued by Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, Queen Amidala and her team left Naboo to personally seek aid in the Galactic Senate, but not before making an emergency stop on Tatooine due to a leaking hyperdrive caused by the droid fighters. Captain Panaka and others were to organize a resistance movement in the meantime.

Once on Coruscant, Queen Amidala addressed the senate. The Federation had powerful and rich allies, and all the Queen could do was to call for a "Vote of No Confidence" in the senate leadership of Supreme Chancellor Valorum. In this she hoped to force a change for a more favorable chancellorship. The Queen returned to her homeworld to lead the resistance herself. Once home, Queen Amidala sought the aid of the reclusive Gungans, pleading for joint action against a common enemy. The Gungans agreed to an alliance and led an army against the Federation's mechanical forces. Captain Panaka and the RSF were able to organize the Space Fighter Corps to their fighters, and launch a last effort against the Federation capital ship. The Fighter Corps destroyed the Trade Federation capital ship which shut off all of the B1 Battle Droids and the Trade Federation leaders Nute Gunray and Rune Haako were captured. Qui-Gon Jinn was killed during the battle, but ultimately the Naboo & Gungan Alliance was able to defeat the Federation. For her heroic effort the Naboo people wished to alter the constitution allowing for Padmé, and possibly her heirs, to reign for life. Padmé humbly declined the honor.

After serving the maximum two 4-year terms, Padmé was replaced by Queen Jamilla (24–20 BBY). Jamilla asked for Padmé to continue on serving Naboo as Senator. Padmé "couldn't refuse the Queen", and returned to politics after a brief respite. Jar Jar Binks was also appointed as the alternate Senator, becoming the first Gungan to represent Naboo.
Clone Wars
Galactic Republic Senate politics was a new forum for Padmé Amidala. In the mean time Palpatine, a Naboo himself, remained Supreme Chancellor of the Republic, and his hard-line stances were generally supported by a Naboo still rebuilding after occupation. Though many on Naboo and in the Galactic Senate wished for a centralized executive, Padmé voted again and again against the Military Creation Act, which would allow for the Senate to raise a standing military to serve at the discretion of the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic. Padmé Amidala, however, was outmaneuvered and — after a proposal by Senator Jar Jar Binks' for the granting of "emergency powers" to the Chancellor — a military was created to counter the Separatist movement. During the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems (including the Trade Federation) launched an unsuccessful campaign of invasion and conquest against Naboo.

Imperial Naboo
In years to come, the Naboo would generally support the positions of Chancellor and later Emperor Palpatine, including the establishment of the Empire, thus becoming an Imperial satellite state. Many Naboo would serve in the Imperial Services and Captain Panaka would become an aide to the Emperor, and later ascend to the rank of Moff of the Chommell sector.
Popular Queen Kylantha would reign throughout the Imperial years. Kylantha appointed Padmé Amidala's niece, Pooja Naberrie, to the Imperial Senate. There Pooja would be a contemporary of her cousin, Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan. Unfortunately they would never know of each other's biological relationship. Kylantha was not a supporter of the old Republic, but neither was she an Imperial proponent. Kylantha refused to alter the democratic structure of the Naboo constitution. It is believed Kylantha was secretly pro-Rebellion, ironically despite the Empire placing her in the position of Queen when the Imperial 501st executed the previous monarch, Queen Apailana.

The New Republic
After the downfall of the Empire, Naboo ambassadors were sent to negotiate terms with the New Republic, and were among the signers of the
Common Charter. During the time of the New Republic, the Chommell Sector was represented in the New Republic Senate by Arani Korden and later by a Gungan Senator.

Kamino was the watery world where the Clone Army for the Galactic Republic was created. It was inhabited by a race of tall, elegant beings called the Kaminoans, who kept to themselves and were known for their cloning technology. Kamino was located just south of the Rishi Maze.

Geography
Kamino was in a system of 13 planets orbiting an aging star south of the Rishi Maze, a dwarf satellite galaxy in a decaying orbit around the main galaxy. The stormy waterworld of Kamino was located in Wild Space. The planet was composed of a molten core with a rocky mantle and silicate rock crust. Climatic change had long ago submerged the planet's continents, drowning the planet under a global ocean that covered 100% of the surface. It was subject to savage storms and powerful lightning bursts that could be seen from orbit.

Sentient life
The Kaminoans are aliens that come from the stormy planet of Kamino. They are white-skinned and have long necks. Experts at cloning, they produced the clone army used by the Old Republic. Their entire society is genetically engineered. This occurred in response to rising sea levels on their home planet. The males have crests on their heads; this is a remnant of the Kaminoans evolving from the sea. The almond-shaped eyes of Kaminoans were able to see color only in the ultraviolet spectrum. Therefore, what appeared as white dwellings were actually colored with shades that Humans and other humanoid species couldn't see. Kaminoans rode flying cetaceans called aiwhas. Indigenous to the planet Naboo, these aiwhas may have been created using cloning technology.

History

As a result of forced but resourceful adaptations, the Kaminoans survived the Great Flood of their planet's continents.
Throughout its history, the location and very existence of Kamino was known to only a handful of beings. In 3,996 BBY, following the devastation of Ossus, a number of artifacts saved from Ossus were hidden in the ruins of Derem City by Jedi Master Qalsneek the Bull. After the Jedi Civil War, Kaminoan kyber darts were being used in the galaxy, but most beings were ignorant of their source.
In later years, the Kaminoans created saberdarts, similar to the older kyber dart. These deadly weapons were favored by bounty hunter Jango Fett. The Kaminoans created clone miners to work in the mines of Subterrel. While on Subterrel prospecting, Dexter Jettster became familiar with the Kaminoan cloners, and even found a saberdart.

Clone Wars
The Clone Army
In 32 BBY, Sifo-Dyas placed an order with the Kaminoans for a Clone Army. Darth Tyranus, at the bidding of Darth Sidious, murdered Sifo-Dyas to keep the creation of this army secret from the Jedi and the Republic. Tyranus then recruited Jango Fett to serve as Prime Clone. Fett agreed on the condition the Kaminoans create him an unaltered clone, his son Boba Fett. Jango raised Boba on Kamino for the next ten years.

Obi-Wan Kenobi was directed there in 22 BBY to follow a lead on the whereabouts of Senator Padmé Amidala's would-be assassin through a single saberdart. This saberdart had been used by Jango Fett to murder Zam Wesell before she could be interrogated by Kenobi. Kenobi had the dart identified by his close friend Dexter Jettster. Jettster directed him to Kamino, and Obi-Wan and Yoda were disturbed that Kamino had apparently been erased from the Jedi Archives. During Obi-Wan's stay on Kamino at Tipoca City, he discovered the source of the Clone Army's genetic code, Jango Fett, and his "son," Boba Fett. Once he was discovered, Jango and Boba narrowly escaped the planet with Obi-Wan close behind.

Yoda later travelled to Kamino and brought a contingent of these clone warriors to assist in the rescue of Obi-Wan, Anakin, Padmé and the Jedi Knights in the Battle of Geonosis, which began the fabled Clone Wars. When the Separatists discovered the source of the clones, they launched an attack on Kamino, but the Battle of Kamino was won by the Republic.
Boba Fett came back almost a day after the Battle of Geonosis and received a "black book" from the librarian (he had inadvertently left it there when he and his father were fleeing Kamino), a strange whirring being appropriately named Whhr. Jedi Knight Siri Tachi almost caught him, but Taun We betrayed her, and distracted the Jedi, as Boba leapt down into a garbage chute and barely escaped the Jedi.

The Rebellion
With the rise of the Galactic Empire, Kamino found itself under Imperial control. A small number of Kaminoans, resentful of the Empire's presence on their world, began to breed a group of clones that would fight against them. This threat was put down by elements of the 501st Legion, led by Boba Fett, in a conflict that would become known as the Kamino Uprising.

Those Kaminoans who remained alive were oppressed and enslaved by and to the Empire. They were forced to help Imperial Specialists create more clones from a variety of different clone templates to serve as Stormtroopers for the Galactic Empire. Amongst the enslaved Kaminoans was Taun We, who survived the aftermath of the Kamino rebellion. Before leaving Kamino, Boba Fett confronted Taun We, and he apologized to her for his actions on Kamino. The lone Mandalorian told the Kaminoan that he held no ill-will against her, and that this was only a hired job from the Empire. The two acknowledged one another and then parted ways.

NEW REPUBLIC
After the Galactic Empire was overthrown by the Rebel Alliance, the enslaved Kaminoans were excited to see that 20 long years of labor and slavery to the cruel Galactic Empire had finally been abolished thanks to the Rebel Alliance. However, the Alliance began destroying all the cloning centers which the Empire had conducted their experiments, all across the galaxy. The Alliance also requested that the Kaminoans destroy their own cloning facilities to prevent the creation of further clone armies, which could be used to conquer and destroy. The Kaminoans continued to live peacefully on Kamino, where they became a member of the protected planets, in the New Republic's planetary protective act treaty.

Geonosis was the home planet of the Geonosians and the Confederacy's first capital and a major droid foundry.

GEOGRAPHY
Geonosis had a large diameter but light gravity and dense atmosphere. With a weak magnetic field, harsh solar radiation storms were common, and on occasion mass extinctions occurred. The most persistent surface organisms were humble red rock algae while the semi-insectoid Geonosians were driven underground. It consisted of a diminutive molten core with a rocky mantle forming a rocky, desert world subject to flash floods that carved great highland canyons. Water made up 5% of the surface.
During the time of the Geonosian rule, much of the planet's architecture was similar in appearance to termite mounds, consisting of domes and buildings built into caverns and rock spires. Therefore, one could easily mistake Geonosian buildings for natural formations and the planet itself for uninhabited. This concept being a great war asset.

Early history
In the distant past, Geonosis's largest moon was hit by a rogue comet, sending out a massive debris field that hammered the surface into ruin, before settling into a ring of orbiting rock. This event killed off more than 99% of Geonosis's native species.
Over millions of years, the few creatures who survived the devastation slowly reclaimed the planet. Random meteor impacts constantly weeded out the weaker species, leaving only the truly cunning, hardy, and ruthless species alive. The Geonosians, the dominant life form on the planet, constituted all three.
After the technical-minded Geonosians made contact with the galaxy, the Baktoid Armor Workshop moved several droid and weapon foundries to the planet.

Clone Wars
In 24 BBY, during the reign of Archduke Poggle the Lesser, Geonosis became a member of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, which used the planet's factories to build its droid army. Two years later, in 22 BBY, Poggle scheduled a private meeting of the Confederacy leaders on Geonosis. It was expected that during this meeting the organizations that formed the backbone of the Separatist movement would put their resources at the disposal of Count Dooku, the Head of State of the Confederacy.

Unbeknownst to the Separatists, their plans of waging war against the Galactic Republic were heard by Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi, who had followed Jango Fett, a bounty hunter employed by Dooku, to Geonosis. Kenobi managed to transmit his discoveries to his Padawan Anakin Skywalker, who was at that time located on Tatooine, before being caught by the Separatists. After retransmitting the information to the Jedi Council, Skywalker and Padmé Amidala, the Senator of Naboo, decided to rescue Kenobi, but ended up imprisoned themselves.
Eventually, Kenobi, Skywalker and Amidala were taken to the Geonosian execution arena and were faced against an Acklay, a Reek and a Nexu respectively, but managed to free themselves. The Separatists, in turn, introduced battle droids to the arena, triggering the Battle of Geonosis, the first battle of the Clone Wars, as Jedi reinforcements, led by Master Mace Windu, revealed themselves among the public and entered the arena to confront the droids. Jango Fett was among the many casualties in the ongoing battle, never getting the chance to see his creation in action.
After a long battle between the Droids and the Jedi, Master Yoda arrived to supply troops to the Republic, after which a great battle erupted in the dust plains of Geonosis.
At the time of the Clone Wars, the planet's population was estimated at 100 billion. After the Confederacy's defeat at the Battle of Geonosis, the planet was occupied by the Republic.

Post-Clone Wars

As the Clone Wars ended in 19 BBY and the Republic restructured into the Galactic Empire, Geonosis remained under Imperial control. Geonosian scientists played a role in the construction of the first Death Star. While chasing an Imperial carrier that had interfered with the Rebel Alliance's raid on the Empire's operations on Bakura, Wedge Antilles visited Geonosis and found several completely operational B1 battle droids left over from the war, as well as a Jedi starfighter, which he used to escape the planet. After the death of Emperor Palpatine, Geonosis established an isolationist policy.

Ord Mantell was known as the Heart of the Bright Jewel since it orbited the blue star Bright Jewel at the center of the Bright Jewel system. The planet was famous for its thick, outer cometary cloud, which has been the site of the Blockade Runners Derby for nearly 100 years.
Two large moons and thirteen other satellites orbited the planet (to which was added the Jubilee Wheel), and the cloud cover was tinged with pink when viewed from the planet's surface. These natural wonders made Ord Mantell something of a tourist attraction, despite its seedier side. It was also the homeworld of the Mantellian Savrips, whose sapience was largely unnoticed or ignored, and Mantellian flutterplumes.
History

Ord Mantell was settled in circa 12,000 BBY by Corellian colonists as an advanced military outpost for the Galactic Republic. It was one of several Ordnance/Regional Depots, lending to its name. The settlers became mostly farmers, although the planet became a haven for mercenaries, exiles, murderers, smugglers and all other sorts of illegal dealers.
Over time, more wealthy planets and better hyperspace routes diminished Ord Mantell's strategic importance, but became something of a free port for all manner of freighters and cargo ships. Despite the planet's dropping stature, it remained a popular stop for traveling ships.

Galactic Republic
Circa 37 BBY, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi were assigned to investigate a missing cargo ship. The investigation led them to Ord Mantell, where they encountered a ruthless land baron named Taxer Sundown, who controlled much Ord Mantell’s moisture farming properties. The intervention of the Jedi forced Sundown to try and flee Ord Mantell, though the resulting chase ended in a crash that broke Sundown’s neck. This led to the discovery of a mind-control device being employed by Sundown which, in addition to lightsaber-wielding enforcers, had convinced Mantellian farmers that he was a Jedi.
Before the start of the Clone Wars, Jedi Knight Pablo-Jill brought peace to the lawless world. Afterwards, Ord Mantell was one of the planets used as a weapons storage facility and clone trooper barracks by the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars.

GALACTIC EMPIRE

During the Imperial era, the planet claimed to be free of Imperial interest though the famous smuggler Han Solo and Luke Skywalker, on a mission, discovered an Imperial fleet on maneuvers there. It was here that Han had his run in with the bounty hunter Skorr. It was at a starship scrapyard on Ord Mantell that Dash Rendar—working to locate information on Han Solo's whereabouts for Lando Calrissian after the debacle at Cloud City—ran into IG-88 and other bounty hunters trying to intercept Boba Fett, who was transporting Han's frozen body to Jabba the Hutt. Rendar defeated IG-88D in a battle in the Ord Mantell junkyards. Ord Mantell was only admitted into the New Republic in 9 ABY.

Sullust was the primary planet of the Sullust system in Sullustan Space, at the conjuncture of the Rimma Trade Route and the Silvestri Trace. The planet joined the Republic when Sullustan merchants connected their planet to Tapani Sector with the Rimma Trade Route 5,500 BBY.

The Outer Rim world was volatile with hundreds of active volcanoes, producing a noxious, toxic atmosphere and intense electrical storms. These conditions, combined with the planet's rich mineral deposits, caused the native Sullustan inhabitants to live in underground caves. The underground caves were humid and cool, with a diverse biosphere supported by underground lakes. The planet was once known for its podraces. During the New Sith Wars, the Brotherhood of Darkness captured the planet.
Sullust was the headquarters of the galaxy-spanning
SoroSuub Corporation, a member of the Commerce Guild. Nearly one-half of the population was under its employment. As the Old Republic crumbled, the governing Sullustan Council became weak. Under President Beolar Bribbs, the planet seceded from the Republic in 22 BBY and joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems. During the Clone Wars, Jedi Knight Rees Alrix led a mission to Sullust.

GALACTIC CIVIL WAR
With the expansion of Palpatine's New Order, SoroSuub assumed leadership of Sullust with Proclamation 173d and announced its full support of the Empire. In exchange for several lucrative contracts and the promise of guaranteed future business, SoroSuub took a hardline against the Rebel Alliance and its supporters.
Angered at SoroSuub's illegal takeover and support of the Empire, Sullustans formed resistance cells under the leadership of Sian Tevv that became model rebel cells during the Galactic Civil War. Tevv's resistance fighters, combined with a coup to take over SoroSuub by pro-Alliance forces garnered enough support to wrestle control of Sullust away from SoroSuub shortly before 0 BBY.
The
Sullustan resistance remained independent from the Alliance, although it allowed their fleet to use Sullust as the staging point for planned destruction of the Death Star II, since Sullust was an endpoint of the Sanctuary Pipeline as well as due to a board chairman of SoroSuub being rescued from Imperial detention by Rebel Forces. The Alliance also launched a diversionary attack in the system, to draw the Imperial fleet away from Endor.
After the
Battle of Endor, Sullust officially aligned itself with the Alliance, and subsequently the New Republic. It was represented on the New Republic Provisional Council by Sian Tevv and later in the New Republic Senate by Sien Siev and Niuk Niuv. Sullust then went on to be a key member of the Galactic Alliance.
