Casey Rhodes (Red Ranger)
Casey is a novice member of the Pai Zhua at the start of the series, but is brave and instinctively protective of others. Initially, he was reluctant to accept his responsibilities due to his lack of experience, but he quickly learnt to harness his inner power of the Tiger Spirit. He later learnt to control the spirit of the Shark after undergoing training by Master Finn, and the Gorilla Spirit from Master Rilla in the Spirit World. He later failed his test to become a Pai Zhua master, despite beating Master Finn in battle. He eventually becomes a master when he goes to save Jarrod from Dai Shi, against Theo, Lily, and Mao's suggestion. Casey now teaches at the Pai Zhua Academy, succeeding Master Mao.
Lily Chilman (Yellow Ranger)
Fun-loving and vivacious, Lily Chilman fearlessly accepts the responsibility given to her by Master Mao. She posesses the spirit of the Cheetah. She later learnt to control the spirit of the Elephant after undergoing training from Master Phant, and the Penguin Spirit from Master Guin in the Spirit World. She later became a Pai Zhua master by defeating Master Phant in battle. In the last episode, Lily accepted Theo's offer of a date.
Theo Martin (Blue Ranger)
Smart, strong, and good in fighting, Theo Martin is fearless and commanding, but he has yet to learn the importance of teamwork (something that he learnt during his training from Master Swoop). He has an identical twin brother named Luen. Theo posesses the spirit of the Jaguar. He later learnt to control the spirit of the Bat after undergoing training from Master Swoop, and the Antelope Spirit from Master Lope in the Spirit World. He later became a Pai Zhua master by defeating Master Swoop in battle. In the last episode, Theo finally worked up enough courage after Fran's words of encouragement to ask Lily (whom he has a crush on) out on a date.
Robert "R.J." James (Wolf Ranger)
Robert "R.J." James is the owner of the Jungle Karma Pizza restaurant, and master of the Jungle Fury Power Rangers after Master Mao's loss of his physical body. While he continues to teach the Rangers how to master Pai Zhua and produces their weaponry, he struggles with control over his Wolf Spirit, eventually transforming him into a werewolf. After gaining full control of the Wolf Spirit with help from Fran, he becomes the Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger and fights alongside the others. R.J. is the first Power Ranger to incorporate a shade of violet/purple as his primary suit color. He uses a variety of martial arts technique, most notably a stylized form of Muay Thai. His Ranger suit is radically different from the other Rangers' and is specially designed with armor on the elbows and knees. R.J. retains the Wolf Morpher when in suit and uses it as a blaster.
Dominic "Dom" Hargan (Rhino Ranger)
Dominic Hargan is a mischievous former Pai Zhua student sent by Master Mao to find his path in life. After six years of wandering, he heads back to Jungle Karma Pizza to meet up with his old friend R.J. After initially rejecting him, the other Rangers accepted him into the team when he saves Fran from a falling sign. With control over the Rhinoceros Spirit, Dominic uses the Rhino Morpher (which doubles up as a weapon) to transform into the Jungle Fury Rhino Ranger and uses the Control Dagger to summon the Rhino Steel Zord, making him the only Ranger unable to form his inner Spirit into a Zord. After the final battle against Dai Shi, Dominic leaves for a European backpacking trip with Fran.
