Happy Birthday to Sin Huey, Elvin and Genie
Monday, 23rd June
Firstly Pa and I, along with Kundam, went to Bang Bueng to fetch a certain church worker named James, and then along with a Pastor Saencham (methinks), we had lunch at a small restaurant in the middle of BB. It was there that I tossed ice cubes onto the empty road for fun and took a few pics of an adorable Siamese cat lying on the bench there :-p
Then we drove to a certain village... to visit a young lady named Rosukul who lived there with her mother. Rosukul suffered from some virus attack in the brain sometime last year, and the illness made her lose a lot of weight, so much til she looked like a skeleton. But with constant visits and praying, she got a lot better, and she now looks much healthier. But she is still feeling rather depressed after recovery, and is struggling to walk properly, which is why she often sits in the bed. It didn't help that her husband is living elsewhere (along with infant daughter) tryng to raise money. Seeing Rosukul (who's only 21) right now, she looks so much different from the pictures I had seen sometime earlier this year... you will be greatly shocked if you were to see the photos of her ghastly state in the first few months of the brain infection.
It was there that we prayed for Rosukul, and at the same time I took pictures of the village chickens there.
Then we kept on driving, stopping at a certain drink-n-snack stall. The young lady manning the stall looks quite sweet and attractive, but she's no Felicia or Joanne. Before leaving the place, I went up to that lady's pet dog and shouted Ric Flair's trademark "WOOOOOO!". :-D
We went to that village which we went to on Saturday, the same one where we had the Children's Ministry. I started to sulk a little cos I was getting bored and wanted to get back soon. Anyway, we later went to a certain drink lounge owned by a Christian lady and some relatives. We offered to fetch her mum (I think?) to visit Pastor Saenchan, and we took a slightly confusing journey to Pastor Ajen's place (where James resided in temporarily). Another session of boredom, but there was plenty of ambience in the Pastor's place (esp with teh red cross carved on the ceiling). While James stayed behind, and as I took a nap in the car, Dad dropped the old lady to her place, then dropped Kundam to his Bird Lair (hehe). Lol, does Kundam's brother look a lot like him. Pa and I ended off the rather long day by having dinner at Big C.
