Fourth and fifth day... evangelising and personal battle with stomach upset

Happy Birthday to Eric Oh, Priscilla Kwa, Lydia

4th day, 18th June
Firstly, we woke up rather late at abt 9 am... we fetched Kundam and the 3 of us went for lunch at Carrefour. I tried out some macaroni at the food court there... a bit like kway teow, but still quite manageable. After some shopping, we dropped back Kundam at his house, and went to Big C, where we bought some stuff from the bookstore, as well as buy a charger for Tris' laptop. I was contemplating whether to buy some Mystic Titan plastic model kits (89 Baht each, much cheaper than the ones in Singapore); at first I wanted to resist (since I already have a more advanced 'prototpye'), but the thought still lingers.

Following a brief rest at home, Dad and I went for a walk at another park (not the one we went to on Monday), one with a huge pond and lots of dogs (despite a sign stating that no dogs are allowed; seems like this sign had already lost its 'effect'). Then we went to 7-Eleven to buy some frozen stuff, and headed back home by about 6.30 pm. Nothing so fanciful, huh? I ended off the night by watching Part 1 of "King Solomon" telemovie (via VCD of course). Little did I know that the frozen pizza I had consumed for quick dinner would take a nasty toll to my health... :-(

5th day, 19th June

I had a really strange dream at night, one where I was back in Singapore (second time, hmmph!) and I was at a place where I did not wish to go to again (my old job). To make things worse, I started getting a lousy stomach first thing after I woke up... at first I thought it wasn't serious, but latter occurrences proved otherwise. It's either due to something I ate, or because someone misses me... nahhhh, can't be.

Anyway, Pa and I left for Sri Racha, looking around Robinson Complex (which bore some resemblance to Hougang Mall), buying more groceries and having lunch at a certain Pizza restaurant. Second time I headed for toilet; boy the toilet paper machine sure provides more than enough paper, ha! :-p Then we headed to Saekchan's house to fetch Eartth; another church worker (sorry, forgot her name) followed us via motorbike.

We headed to a Christian household... a Filipino family who could speak fluent English (the wife is an English teacher for kindergarten kids I think). The guy named Ronaldn followed us to an ice-cream shop, where we shared the Word with the owner of said shop. Then Ronald and the other lady escorted us to a certain agricultural university (before departing), where we took a break at the coffee stall and distributed some Christian booklets to the Pre-U students there. Here are the pics taken via camera phone.

After that... we dropped Eartth back at Roong Rood's house, and following a brief chat with Saekchan, Pa and I zoomed off to Makro, for more shopping. Makro sure had changed since the last time I went there; it looks more like a warehouse similar to Giant Supermart back in S'pore. It was there that I went to toilet TWICE. Talk about urgent responses to nature's call. Yep, it is definitely gott abe the frozen pizza, how I regret purchasing it. Pa and I then drove to Tesco Lotus to have dinner, as well as buy some medicine for my poor stomach. Returned home at 6.40 pm, and lights out at usual time.

Oh yes, while at Makro I saw a certain flyer promoting camcorders and TVs... I noticed the pretty young Thai celeb on the flyer resembled a few beauties in Singapore... not only does she look like Shauna Simon or Eunice Olsen, she also exudes the sunny and cheerful personality of a certain Mediacorp princess... can you guess which one? Hint: the one I saw just a few days ago :-p

Galatians 6:7-8 says, "Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Holy Spirit, from that Spirit reaps eternal life."
