These are pieces of news that disturbed me greatly...
Remember the transsexual Thomas Beatie who was born a woman but became a man after surgery and hormone treatment? Having made news by being the first transsexual to actually conceive, he has given birth to a healthy girl a few days ago... click on the link below to read the full story:
The second piece of news caused equal distress... though not as much as the news on Thomas Beatie. It's on the launch of transversite toilets in a certain school in Bangkok. It's kinda disturbing to see this new symbol for katoeys (see below)... it's even worse to see real katoeys being interviewed on TV, regarding their thoughts on the idea of the new toilets. What is this world coming to? :-(
